Cambridge Rugby are excited to welcome fans back to Granchester Road this bank holiday to celebrate an action packed day in the sun for friends and families to enjoy.
The day starts with gates opening at 11am where prospective and current parents and carers are invited to come down with their children and see what the club has to offer with junior rugby. Ranging from Under 7’s right up to senior men and women, Cambridge Rugby has an offering suitable for all ages and abilities.
Mini and Youth Open Day

We’re welcoming everyone to come along and ‘have a go’ at touch sessions, meet the staff and coaches, meet the 1st XV players, enjoy our inflatable activities, food trucks and bar and to enjoy a day at our much loved club. We have something for everyone here at Cambridge Rugby and would love to meet you at the weekend and help you or your child find your fit!

Cambridge Rugby vs. Chinnor RFC

In the second of their pre-season outings, newly promoted Cambridge Rugby 1st XV will join forces with members of the brand new 1923’s squad to take on National One team Chinnor RFC.
Competing across 3 x 30 minutes of play, fans can get a first look at Head Coach Richie Williams’ new look side ahead of their Premiership Cup and Championship debut in just over a week’s time.
Kick off is at 2:30pm and is included in your match ticket or FREE to enjoy if you arrive before 12:30pm.
Activities

We have a whole host of activities available for all ages including inflatable assault course, bouncy castle, penalty shoot out.
Get new season ready by kitting yourself out in our brand new range of merchandise available to buy in the club shop. The shop will be open from 12:30pm onwards.
For those of you wanting to keep to up to date on the international rugby scores our clubhouse bar will be showing every game LIVE on the big screens across the day.
Food and Drink

There will be no hungry bellies on Saturday with plenty available to enjoy including Hog Roast, Wood Fire Pizza Oven and Fish and Chips. Our clubhouse bar and blood and sand marquee will also be open all day serving food and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks!
The clubhouse bar will remain open after the game and into the evening so no need to rush off at the final whistle!
Tickets

Tickets for this weekend’s match are £10, however it is free entry to everyone that arrives before 12:30.
Tickets will be available on the gate however pre-booking is advised. Please see below RE parking as a limited number of spaces will be available to purchase.
Season ticket holders & club members do not need to pay, as entry to all games are included in their membership or season ticket cost.
Upon arrival please head straight to the RED gazebo to show your ticket or membership card.
Travel and Parking
Parking for all match days is £5, we have limited spaces available on site and a place can be reserved via the website by clicking on the event and selecting ‘parking’. It is strongly advised that you pre-book if you are travelling to the club via car as spaces are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis once pre-bookings have been taken into account.
If arriving by car, please show your car parking pass QR code to the gate team on arrival. Then once you have parked please head to the RED gazebo to show your ticket or membership card.
