We’re pleased to announce that local company, Majority Audio, is supporting sport in Cambridge
as proud partners of Cambridge Rugby.
Founded by two friends from Cambridge in 2012, not only is Majority now sold in 100+ retailers
all over the world including Richer Sounds, Currys and Argos, but it’s also an Amazon best selling brand with “a device in over four million homes across the globe”.
The Cambridge connection doesn’t stop there, however, as co-founder Eddie Latham grew up
playing in Cambridge Rugby’s Mini & Youth section throughout his childhood.
Latham said:
“Cambridge Rugby Club has been part of my life since I was seven years old. It was a constant
growing up and gave me more than just a passion for the game. It taught me resilience,
discipline and the importance of being part of something bigger than yourself.
Those lessons carried into building Majority Audio. Teamwork, accountability and pushing
through setbacks are just as important in business as they are on the pitch. It also gave me a
winning mentality – the drive to keep going when things are tough, to absorb the knocks, and to
push on with belief and determination when others might stop.
Being able to give back now, particularly to support the youth teams, is something I’m incredibly
proud of. Grassroots sport shapes young people in ways that last far beyond the final whistle,
and I’m grateful we can play a small part in that.”
Louis Mann, Commercial Director at Cambridge Rugby, said:
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Majority Audio as club partners at Cambridge Rugby.
It’s particularly special to have Eddie involved, having come through our Mini & Youth section
and experienced first-hand what this club represents to so many families in the city. The journey
from grassroots rugby to a successful and innovative brand perfectly reflects the values we
champion here.
We’re grateful to Eddie for his continued support and for sharing his memories of his time at the
club. Partnerships like this are built on genuine connection, and we’re excited to work together
to create meaningful impact both on and off the field.”
Latham’s link to the rugby club showcases how this is a meaningful and impactful partnership
which is exciting for all members, players and the club as a whole.”
