Unfortunately, following the recent low temperatures and forecasted weather, an RFU pitch inspection this afternoon has determined that tomorrow’s fixture between Cambridge Rugby and England U20s has had to be cancelled.
Despite working day and night to protect the pitch, and deploying all the resources we could access, the extreme weather has meant we are forced to cancel what was going to be one of the great days for Cambridge Rugby.
This is not only a huge disappointment from a playing perspective, but also a significant financial blow in an already challenging season. We really hope that supporters will rally and help us.
We encourage all supporters to spend the day with us, the clubhouse will be open with live sport showing on the big screens. We also look forward to welcoming our hospitality guests for lunch, with the timings remaining as planned. Other food and drink options will be available as always.
All purchased match tickets and parking will automatically be transferred to the England U19 v Japan U19 international fixture, at Ellgia Fields, on Saturday 22nd March 2025.
