Cambridge Rugby wing Kwaku Asiedu appeared before an independent disciplinary panel on 14 March 2024.  The panel was chaired by Charles Cuthbert sitting with Becky Essex and Chris Hoadley.

Asiedu was cited in the second half of the match against Bedford Blues on 9 March for a dangerous play in a ruck or a maul contrary to World Rugby Law 9.20.  Kwaku contested the charge but the charge was upheld and he was given a three-week suspension.

The player will miss the following games:

  • 23.03.24 v Nottingham
  • 05.04.24 v Coventry
  • 13.04.24 v London Scottish

Kwaku will be available for selection for the Round 19 clash away to Cornish Pirates on Sunday 21 April.
