Lightning England Age Group centre Eparama Rokodrava is the latest recruit to Cambridge’s Champ Rugby battalion. The former Wasps Academy player arrives from Ealing Trailfinders and has Champ experience from loan spells at Cornish Pirates and Chinnor, for whom he played 3 times against Cambridge last season. Epi’s in familiar company at Ellgia Fields having spent time at Wasps with Jamie Annand and Zac Nearchou. He also played for England with Dan Eckersley and Cambridge’s former Saints loanee Will Glister.

Epi is already loving life at Grantchester Road: “I’m very grateful to be here and excited for what’s ahead! Cambridge has always been an amazing outfit and a side that plays an exciting brand of rugby – I can’t wait to pull on the jersey. I just want to be able to show some Fijian flair in the system Newb’s has put in place and add that to the value that’s already stacked in the squad and have a great season”.

Head Coach Craig Newby is looking forward to seeing Epi in action: “He has the ability to create magic at centre. His strength and balance in attack is a huge asset for us and we look forward to seeing him enjoy his rugby with us. He’s a huge character who loves the game of rugby”.
