Harlequins hooker Jack Doorey-Palmer is the latest recruit to Cambridge Rugby’s Champ squad, joining on a season-long loan. The England U18 front row’s combative performances with Worthing Raiders juniors earned him a shot with the Prem Rugby side – and he had Prem Cup experience with Quins before joining London Scottish on loan, where he was in the match day squad against Cambridge back in May.
Head Coach Craig Newby says “Jack is a great addition to our squad and comes to us with a huge amount of energy and skill. A tough uncompromising hooker who thrives in the fight is someone we cant wait to have with us and support achieve his goals”.
Jack is very pleased to be part of Craig’s ever-increasing army: “I’m really looking foward to getting stuck in to it! It’s a new group, a new environment, and it should be good!”
